IUPAC World Polymer Congeress(Macro2010)

Prof. Wang, Prof. Zhao and Guoming Liu from PMP group participated the 43rd World Polymer Congress (Macro 2010) held in Glasgow, UK, July 11-16, 2010.

Macro2010 was organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and hosted by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), Macromolecular Chemistry Group (Macro Group UK), a joint interest group of the RSC and the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI). It is the largest international multi-symposium conference dedicated to all aspects of polymer science and engineering.

Prof. Wang gave an oral presentation “Miscibility and Mechanical Properties of iPP/OBC Blends: Effect of Comonomer Content in Soft Segment”. Prof. Wang chaired the “Advance in Polyolefins” session on July 15. Prof. Zhao gave a poster presentation “Investigation on the molecular structure–mechanical properties relations in Polypropylene/poly(ethylene-co-propylene) (PP/EPR)? in-reactor alloys”. Guoming Liu presented his work in a poster “Morphology and mechanical properties of binary blends of polypropylene with statistical and block ethylene-octene copolymers”.
